Villa Joep

At Hotel Eindhoven-Best, we believe it is important to make a positive contribution to society and help create a better future. That is why we not only support local initiatives, but also partner with Villa Joep. This remarkable foundation was established in honour of a promise made to four-year-old Joep Steijn, who lost his battle with neuroblastoma in 2003. His story and legacy continue to inspire Villa Joep, which has since been tirelessly committed to funding research into this aggressive form of childhood cancer.

What does Villa Joep do?

Villa Joep is the leading Dutch foundation dedicated to supporting children with neuroblastoma, one of the most aggressive forms of childhood cancer, diagnosed in approximately 25 to 30 young children in the Netherlands each year. Because survival rates remain far too low, Villa Joep brings together families, healthcare professionals, and researchers to accelerate scientific research into finding a cure.

What makes Villa Joep unique is that every euro donated goes directly to research, with one ultimate goal: a future in which every child diagnosed with neuroblastoma can be cured.

We are proud to share that you can now purchase Villa Joep water bottles in our restaurant. For every bottle sold, we donate €1 directly to Villa Joep.
