The regulations below contain the most important house rules that apply within our hotel. By visiting our hotel or restaurant, these house rules must be accepted and respected. In the event of violations, you may be placed on the Alert List and removed from our premises.
General Rules
- All instructions from hotel staff related to the house rules must be followed.
- If you do not agree with our policy, we will unfortunately be unable to issue a room key.
- Upon check-in, every guest must present a valid ID (copies are not accepted). Check-in is only possible from the age of 18.
- Presenting a valid identification document is mandatory.
- If removal from the hotel occurs, access to our hotel may be denied in the future.
- If there is suspicion of illegal substances being used or traded from a room, we reserve the right to inspect the room.
- In case of fire, remain calm. Report the fire to reception and/or activate the nearest fire alarm.
- In the event of a general fire alarm, leave the building immediately.
- Never use the elevators during a fire.
- Pets are only allowed in our Wellness Suite, specifically the dark-themed variant.
- Pets are not allowed in the à la carte or live-cooking breakfast restaurant. Your dog is welcome in the lobby area.
- Cameras are installed throughout various areas of the building. Anyone present in our hotel consents to being recorded. In the event of emergencies or incidents, recordings may be shared with third parties as supporting material.
- Lost property must be handed in at reception.
- Lost items are registered through iLost and stored for a maximum of 6 months. Unclaimed items will then be removed or donated.
- The hotel is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings.
- Management, the owner of this location, and/or hotel employees cannot be held liable for any injury, material damage, or non-material damage suffered by visitors.
- Verbal and/or physical violence will not be tolerated.
- If you wish to decorate your booked room yourself, specific conditions apply. If these conditions are violated, a fine of €150 will be charged, in addition to cleaning costs of €75.
- It is not permitted to spread confetti (or similar materials) or rose petals in the room.
- It is not permitted to stick or write anything on ceilings, walls, and/or windows.
- It is not permitted to hang anything on or in front of smoke detectors.
The Following Is Strictly Prohibited
- Allowing more people in the room than the number of registered guests.
- Receiving visitors in the room.
- Subletting or renting out your room to others.
- Receiving guests in rooms for sex work purposes. If this is discovered or suspected, immediate removal from the hotel and reporting to authorities will follow. Recording visual material for online sexual activities is also prohibited.
- Recording video content in hotel rooms for social media purposes without prior permission from the hotel.
- Using emergency exits as regular entrances or exits.
- Removing hotel property from the building. Guests may be held liable for repair or replacement costs in the event of intentional damage.
- Consuming, using, trading, or possessing drugs or narcotics. In the event of suspicion, we reserve the right to search the room and luggage.
- Using nitrous oxide balloons in the room. The presence of a nitrous oxide tank in the room is also considered a violation. In the event of suspicion, we reserve the right to search the room and luggage.
- Causing nuisance to others, including loud music, inappropriate behavior, or noise of any kind.
- Smoking anywhere inside the building. If smoking is detected, a fine of €250.00 will be charged. If smoke from the balcony enters the room, this will also be considered smoking inside the building and the fine will apply.
- For your safety and that of other guests, covering smoke detectors is strictly prohibited. If detected, a fine of €250.00 and immediate removal from the hotel will follow.
- The wellness and fitness facilities are exclusively for hotel guests. It is not permitted to enter these areas without an overnight stay. Violations will result in a fine of €250 per person, payable at reception.
- Lighting candles or incense is strictly prohibited due to fire hazards and the fire alarm system. (The security system will be activated immediately.)
- Possessing weapons or objects that may be used as weapons is prohibited.
- In all cases not covered by these regulations, hotel management will decide.
Suite Regulations & Deposit
We require a deposit of €150.00 before issuing the room key as a guarantee for the suite. The deposit will be refunded on the day of check-out after inspection of the suite, provided the suite is left in proper condition and all house rules have been respected.
By paying the deposit, you agree to all of our house rules. In the event of violations, your deposit will be withheld.
Zero Tolerance Policy
- Staying in the room with more people than the reserved number is prohibited.
- Receiving unregistered guests is not allowed.
Hotel Eindhoven-Best applies a strict zero-tolerance policy. This means that if our house rules are not followed, no warning will be given and you will be required to leave the hotel immediately. No refunds will be issued, and any paid deposit will unfortunately be withheld.
