First things first
Hotel Eindhoven-Best will soon have three different restaurants:
- The traditional Van der Valk restaurant with approximately 350 seats. The menu will feature all-time favorites as well as innovative dishes;
- The breakfast and lunch buffet and Live Cooking with approximately 350 seats;
- A Skybar on the twelfth floor with approximately 200 seats. We will establish a concept here where the atmosphere is lively, the menu features delicious dishes, and the cocktail glasses are generously filled. The dishes are distinct from those in our à la carte restaurant;
- Bonus: a Brabant pub.
What will you be doing?
- You will ensure that large groups enjoy delicious meals, whether it's a delightful breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Think also of various small bites, delightful snack platters, and gourmet sandwiches.
- Checking and preparing dishes according to the recipes.
- We work with a lot of fresh products, and you will assist in creating new dishes for our menu;
- You are responsible for mise en place. A good start is half the battle;
- Thanks to your delicious food, all conferences, meetings, and trainings will be completely satisfied.
- Naturally, keeping your workplace clean and tidy - according to HACCP guidelines - is also part of your job.
What do we expect from you?
- You love food and everything related to it;
- You have completed a level 3 chef training or equivalent;
- A good atmosphere in the kitchen is key. It boils down to working hard and laughing just as hard!;
- Stress is not in your vocabulary;
- Availability to work weekends.
