Valk Exclusief Hotel Eindhoven-Best is one of the largest, newest and most luxurious locations in the south of the Netherlands. With 24 meeting rooms, including a largest room that can accommodate up to 700 guests, there’s always something happening.
As Banqueting Manager, you make sure that all meetings, conferences, training sessions and parties run smoothly. Join our team and help create an exceptional guest experience with a high level of service.

What will you do?
- You start the day by briefing the Banqueting team. A good start is half the work;
- You check that all tasks are being carried out correctly by the Banqueting team;
- You are the point of contact for meeting guests and organisers of large-scale events, such as business conferences, gala dinners and party evenings;
- You train and coach Banqueting employees. As a growing hotel, we place great importance on properly onboarding and developing your team;
- You coordinate and manage the service during all events and respond to specific guest requests;
- You keep the breakout areas clean and ensure they are always presented to a high standard;
- You work closely with our Sales department to make sure every meeting and event is a success;
- When necessary, you handle complaints and find an appropriate solution;
- You attend management team meetings to support the operation;
- You are responsible for the operational management of the Banqueting team, including scheduling, absence management, performance, recruitment and selection.
What do we expect from you?
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
- You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
- A Social Hygiene diploma and/or SVH Trainer qualification is a plus;
- You have a flexible attitude, a 24/7 mentality and plenty of perseverance – nothing is too crazy for you;
- Stress? Never heard of it.
