First things first
Our breakfast and lunch buffet has approximately 350 seats. There’s a place for everyone at our buffet: from the it-girl to the underdog – creating a super relaxed atmosphere. And last but not least: you’ll be working in a kitchen equipped with the latest technology and equipment, the Rolls-Royce of professional kitchens, so to speak.
What will you do?
- Under the guidance of the responsible manager, you’ll be responsible for the breakfast and lunch buffet. Freshly baked banana bread, yoghurt with homemade granola, fresh juices, croissants – you name it;
- You won’t just prepare the dishes for the buffet – you’ll also be ready to serve our guests a freshly cooked egg or a traditional Dutch pancake;
- You’ll be visible and present on the floor. Connecting with our guests is important, whether you’re doing live cooking during breakfast, restocking the lunch buffet or simply greeting guests with a smile;
- You have an eye for attractive and appealing buffet presentation;
- You know all about the products on our buffet and enjoy telling our guests about them;
- As a kitchen pro, you make sure the breakfast buffet always looks abundant and inviting and you replenish it whenever needed;
- You make sure our room service orders look perfect;
- You’ll also contribute ideas for new products and dishes for our buffet;
- Naturally, keeping your workspace clean and tidy in accordance with HACCP guidelines is also part of your responsibilities.
What do we expect from you?
- You’re a morning person. Literally a ray of sunshine;
- You love food and everything that comes with it;
- A good atmosphere in the kitchen is key. It’s all about working hard and laughing just as hard!;
- You feel comfortable in a role where you work both behind the scenes and in front of guests, and you genuinely enjoy guest interaction;
- Stress isn’t in your vocabulary;
- You’re available both on weekdays and weekends;
- Knowledge of HACCP and allergens is a plus.
