First things first
Hotel Eindhoven-Best will soon have three different restaurants:
- The traditional Van der Valk restaurant with approximately 350 seats. The menu will feature all-time favorites as well as innovative dishes;
- The breakfast and lunch buffet and Live Cooking with approximately 350 seats;
- A Skybar on the twelfth floor with approximately 200 seats. We are going to establish a concept here where people can let loose, enjoy delicious dishes, and have their cocktail glasses generously filled. The dishes will be distinct from those in our à la carte restaurant;
- Bonus: a Brabant-style pub on the ground floor.
What will you be doing?
- You will be responsible for mise en place. A good start is half the battle;
- You ensure the perfect preparation of various dishes. You chef it so that all plates look impeccable, with correct timing being important;
- You learn both the hot and cold sides of the kitchen. Of course, you may have a preference for one side;
- Placing, checking, and receiving orders;
- You will be involved in successfully establishing our various restaurants. We work with many fresh products, and you will help in devising new dishes for our menu;
- You ensure happy faces among the staff by preparing the staff meal;
- Naturally, cleaning up and maintaining your workplace - according to HACCP guidelines - are also part of your responsibilities.

- You love food and everything related to it;
- You have completed a level 3 chef training or similar;
- A good atmosphere in the kitchen is key. It boils down to working hard and laughing just as hard!;
