First things first
At Hotel Eindhoven-Best, guests are pampered with delicious food in one of our three restaurants:
- The traditional Van der Valk restaurant with approximately 350 seats. The menu will feature both all-time favorites and innovative dishes;
- The breakfast and lunch buffet and Live Cooking with approximately 350 seats;
- A Skybar on the twelfth floor with approximately 200 seats;
What will you do?
- You will be our Pastry Chef. Together with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating the most delicious sweets;
- You ensure the perfect preparation of various sweet and bread dishes for (large) events in the hotel;
- You contribute to the development of the menu. Your expertise in sweet dishes will definitely be utilized. You also participate in developing new sweet dishes, among others for our menu;
- The display case must always be filled with the most delicious creations so that guests indulge at the sight of the most beautiful cakes and tastiest pastries;
- Naturally, cleaning and maintaining your workplace - according to HACCP guidelines - are also part of your duties.
What do we ask of you?
- You have completed training in pastry arts;
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a pastry chef, or a similar position;
- A good atmosphere in the kitchen is key. It boils down to hard work and laughing just as hard!;
- Stress is not in your vocabulary, an event with 800 guests? Bring it on!;
- Creativity is key! You create the most beautiful creations!;
- You are available full-time.
